Course Summary

Developed by Keyteach in partnership with OneStream and part of the official OneStream standard curriculum this course will extend and enhance the Excel Add-in expertise of power users and equip them with skills to better support the OneStream Excel user community. Focusing on exploring the advanced capabilities of OneStream across Excel and Microsoft Office to enter, update, manage, query and analyze application data.

This course also explores functionality around VBA to automate data submission using XFSetCells formulas. Attendees will also create and maintain extensible documents maintained in the File Explorer for dynamic reporting using Powerpoint, Word and Excel. This training focuses on best practice creation of artifacts that can be utilised efficiently by the wider user community.

Course Description

Attendees will learn how to utilise advanced expression logic and setup calculated columns and rows in Quick Views. Learners will explore how to create and maintain Workflow Import templates to support their users when uploading data from Excel. Attendees will also learn how to use XFGetCell and XFSetCell functions with VBA functions to automate OneStream tasks. This course also covers using extensible documents to display dynamic Onestream information embedded in Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
