The OneStream Consultant Bootcamp is a comprehensive five -day, hands-on training course designed for consultants responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting OneStream applications. The course takes delegates through the complete application lifecycle, from application creation and data loading to application design, workflow configuration, security, calculations, and reporting.

Course Description

Upon completing the OneStream Consultant Bootcamp, delegates will have developed a complete end-to-end understanding of the OneStream platform, from application design and implementation through to financial processing and reporting. They will have practical experience building a fully functioning OneStream solution and will be equipped with the skills required to contribute effectively to implementation projects, application support, and ongoing solution development.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Navigate and administer the OneStream platform, including workflows, Cube Views, forms, and application settings to support financial processes.

2. Design and configure a OneStream application by creating and maintaining dimensions, cubes, metadata, workflows, and security using industry best practices.

3. Load, validate, and transform financial data by configuring data sources, transformation rules, Source IDs, and Data Management processes to ensure accurate and auditable data integration.

4. Implement and manage financial consolidation processes, including foreign currency translation, intercompany processing, journals, confirmation rules, workflow certification, and financial calculations.

5. Develop and customize reporting solutions by creating Cube Views, input forms, dashboards, books, Quick Views, and Excel-based reports using OneStream Spreadsheet and XF Functions.

6. Apply consulting best practices to build scalable, maintainable, and secure OneStream solutions through practical configuration exercises and implementation challenges.

Day 1: OneStream Fundamentals and Workflow

Build confidence using OneStream by learning platform navigation, Point of View, Cube Views, data loading, forms, and the core workflow process.
