Technical Training Consultant / Project Manager
Full Time (permanent)
Based; South Manchester, UK
About The Job
The ideal candidate will be a commercial education/training professional with knowledge of the full learning and development lifecycle for software implementations, ranging from curriculum design, delivery, team management, monitoring, and reporting. They will have experience of working across multiple sectors on a range of business change and transformation projects with outstanding leadership, project management, and team building skills.
The candidate will be educated to degree level and should have a technical background and strong IT skills. The candidate should be a first-rate communicator, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a straightforward way and build and maintain professional relationships at all levels. This person must be a proactive, self-learner seeking to stay up to date on new software features, implementation practices and product roadmaps.
The candidate must provide proof that they have the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Delivering technical training for customers and software implementation partners.
- Mentoring other employees.
- The development and maintenance of standard course curriculums.
- Updating existing courses to incorporate new software features.
- Delivery and facilitation of conference workshops.
- The assessment of training requirements and workflow-based training needs analysis.
- Project management of bespoke custom user training implementations.
QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree educated ideally in Maths, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance and
- Accounting or related subjects.
- Must be fluent in English; secondary European language would be an advantage.
- Experience of developing and delivering technical training on a range of software and projects.
- Excellent listening, verbal, public speaking, and written communication skills.
- Project management skills.
