By the end of this course learners will be able to:

  • Summarize the data collection, journal, submission, and approval process
  • Recall the data model configuration for the consolidation process
  • Identify how to create consolidation scenarios and set the scope
  • Implement the consolidator data processing setup including elimination logic, ownership structure, minority interest and currency conversion
  • Differentiate the consolidator duties on the Original and Consolidation scenarios
  • Critique how Tagetik can best produce consolidated data

Course Description

This two-day course provides attendees with hands-on experience of creating a consolidation process. This starts with an overview of how data is collected, how journals are used to adjust the data and the approval process.

Explore the data model to understand how consolidations are configured. Learn how to define the scope of the consolidation scenarios required and incorporate these into the consolidation process.

Find out how to setup consolidator data processing to include automated elimination logic, ownership structure management, minority interest calculations and currency conversion.
