Course Description
This two-day course provides attendees with hands-on experience of the planning and budgeting process and how it is setup. Learn all the necessary skills to create advanced and powerful Excel forms for to enter and review data, including the query management, data processing management, and spreading and break back.
Explore the closing and allocation process to find out about rules structure, how to set an execution plan and the specific reporting tool for the closing and allocation process. This course also shows how to implement the profitability model which leverages the CCH® Tagetik built-in allocation engine.
Find out about calculation logic to review standard calculations and implement more advanced calculations using the MDX-like scripting language (TGKML). Explore other functionality to setup forecast models, rolling forecast, snapshot scenarios and monthly splitting.
