Learn how to administer, manage and maintain existing PBCS applications. Understand how to make changes to existing models, load and maintain application metadata and perform ongoing maintenance tasks.
This two-day course provides a thorough grounding in PBCS system administration, exploring maintenance tasks and how to apply updates to existing applications. You’ll explore how to manage, maintain and update hierarchies to meet new requirements on an ongoing basis.
Attendees will explore how security is used to control both system access and the integrated approvals process. Work with users, groups and roles to keep your application up-to-date and in sync with business requirements.
Investigate the structure and usage of the various documents and system elements that make up an application. Gain an understanding of how best to update or add to existing data forms, task lists, business rules, reports, dashboards and other application components.
Find out how data from a variety of different sources can be transformed and loaded to a PBCS application using Data Management (FDMEE). You’ll also find out how data is aggregated and calculated in PBCS. Find out where calculations are created and learn how to make and deploy changes to existing business rules.
