Course description

The course focuses on the design, build, system administration and deployment of HPCM Managment Ledger applications. You’ll discover the tasks involved in preparing the structure and dimensionality of the allocation model, together with the strategies for the creation and deployment of applications using EPMA, master Essbase cubes, flat files and templates.

Learn about the calculation rules and the rule sets required to effectively and efficiently model data within HPCM. Discover how to execute the model and explore the use of manifold tools to view and analyse allocated data.This hands-on course provides everything you’ll need to design, build and maintain HPCM Management Ledger models and applications.

Reviewing the models, dimensions and the creation and deployment of applications.

Day 2:

POV creation, deployment to Essbase, Rules and Rule Sets, Rule Balancing, Data Load, Model Views.

Day 3:

Custom Calculations, Trace Allocations, System Reports, application creation options, Security, Lifecycle Management.
